January 2008 (Amendment to Constitution & Travel games)

Word from the Director: With the beginning of a New Year, came a couple of Amendments to our the Titans Constitution, please see below:

I. Player eligibility for charity events and tournaments that are non-public safety.  (Approved January 7, 2008)
a. 1st priority:  Public Safety, Association member and plays on an existing DFW Titans team (must be in good standing)
b. 2nd priority:  Public Safety, Non-Association member and plays on an existing DFW Titans team (must be in good standing)
c. 3rd priority:  Non-Association member and plays on an existing DFW Titans teams (must be in good standing)
d. 4th priority:  Public Safety, Association member, but does not play on an existing DFW Titans team
e. 5th priority:  Public Safety, Non-Association member
f. Last priority:  Non-public safety, Non-Association member

II. Each DFW Titans team will be allotted an equal number of slots for free charity games, unless a team has not made their entry by given deadline, then it will be "first come, first serve" and by above Amendment I.  (Goalies remain the exception and will be "first come, first serve").

Also, we have 2 major games coming up for our Titans travel team, with our first stop at San Antonio's AT&T Center against the San Antonio Fire Department's Hose Hounds on January 18th! Then off to Austin, for our first game with the newly formed Central Texas Alliance Public Safety Hockey Team on January 20th! Good luck!
